A calm sunny day on the Island with a few new arrivals; a Blue Tit was trapped at Cristin, a Great Spotted Woodpecker was at Plas, 20 Common Scoters flew along the West Coast with four Sandwich Terns and a Black-headed Gull and the Hooded Crow still along with a Rook and two Jackdaws.

Other bird sightings included two Grey Herons a Merlin, 27 Whimbrels, two Common Sandpipers, nine Sand Martins, 28 Swallows, 24 Wheatears, a Tree Pipit, Sedge Warbler, eight Blackcaps, seven Chiffchaffs, 15 Willow Warblers, 42 Goldfinch and three each of Siskin and Lesser Redpoll.

The day ended with 11 Harbour Porpoises of the West Coast at dusk before heading back out this time to Pen Cristin to ring some more Manx Shearwaters.
