A change in the weather resulted in a more overcast and colder day across Bardsey. Birds seemed to be thin on the ground with only a Golden Plover on the South End, a Common Sandpiper in Henllywn and two Pied Flycatchers at Nant. Ringing again produced more House Martins with 17 caught, this means that this year an astonishing 201 birds have been caught in the last 4 days; in contrast only 127 have been caught here since 1953!!
