Another day of easterlies continued the good stream of migrants arriving to the Island. The highlight of the day was a Marsh Warbler trapped and ringed in the morning at Cristin. The Bar-tailed Godwit was seen again on Solfach, and other highlights were two Tree Pipits, six Grey Wagtails, 25 White Wagtails, three Whinchats, a Reed Warbler, a Grasshopper Warbler, a Sedge Warbler, a Garden Warbler, and  37 Willow Warblers

Other birds seen today were three Sparrowhawks, a Buzzard, five Ringed Plovers, a Golden Plover, two Purple Sandpipers, a Dunlin, two Snipe, two Whimbrels, 31 Curlews, 25 Turnstones, a Teal, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull, eight Sandwich Terns, a Collared Dove, 21 Robins, four Blackcaps, eight Goldcrests, five Spotted Flycatchers, and a Sedge Warbler

Butterflies were still moving through the Island today with 14 Small Whites, 109 Red Admirals, 33 Painted Ladys, 39 Small Tortoiseshells, and a Speckled Wood
