Clear warm skies and easterly winds continued with another good arrival of migrants across the Island. Waders today included a showy Bar-tailed Godwit in Solfach, a Greenshank over Pen Cristin and a Snipe flushed from the rocks on the Narrows. Out to sea, the main interest came from a single Arctic Tern. Overhead two Swifts headed south and in the bushes a Pied Flycatcher, 15 Spotted Flycatchers, two Whinchats and a Redstart were recorded. The day ended with a juvenile Ringed Plover being dazzled on Henllywn.
