Southerly winds turned to northerly and resulted in some good sea passage off the West Coast saw the first Little Tern of the year go south along with 76 Common Scoters, four Arctic Skuas, 13 Sandwich Terns and nine Arctic Terns.

Alongside the seabirds a Teal was in Solfach, a Grasshopper Warbler was in the Wetlands, a Whinchat was in the North West Fields and a Tree Pipit flew south.

Other birds today included three Grey Herons, ten Mallards, three Sparrowhawks, a Kestrel, two Whimbrels, 21 Curlews, 13 Redshanks, 59 Turnstones, five Mediterranean Gulls, 19 Black-headed Gulls, four Guillemots, two White Wagtails, two Blackcaps, four Whitethroats, eight Willow Warblers, five Spotted Flycatchers, three Goldcrests and 365 Linnets.
