Warm southerly winds and clear skies today saw an Lapwing and Golden Plover new in on the South End, an Arctic Skua was off the West Coast mobbing Kittiwakes and Hummingbird Hawkmoths were seen at Cristin and in the Withies.

Other birds today included three Grey Herons, nine Mallards, three Kestrels, two Sparrowhawks, two Whimbrels, 14 Curlews, four Redshanks, 36 Turnstones, two Mediterranean Gulls, four Black-headed Gulls, a Common Gull, 3000 Kittiwakes, seven Sandwich Terns, 11 'Commic' Terns, nine Guillemots, two Feral Pigeons, 33 Swallows, 17 House Martins, 12 Robins, 10 Wheatears, a Song Thrush, three Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff, 21 Willow Warblers, two Goldcrests and three Spotted Flycatchers.
