Strengthening south-easterlies resulted in some fair passage out off the West Coast of the Island, and a seawatch yielded two Arctic Skuas, one Balearic Shearwater, four Black-headed Gulls, a Common Tern, 10 Arctic Terns, five 'Commic' Terns, 20 Razorbills, six Sanderlings, five Dunlins, three Bar-tailed Godwits, seven Whimbrels, 36 Curlews, six Redshanks, and 11 Turnstones.

Other species of note seen today include a Sparrowhawk, a Teal, eight Ringed Plovers, a Snipe, two Sand Martins, 69 Swallows, 24 House Martins, three White Wagtails, 13 Robins, a Whitethroat, 12 Willow Warblers, 12 Goldcrests, and three Spotted Flycatchers.
