Windy weather during the day meant for an early changeover with guests leaving the Island before 7! This early start delayed census somewhat however, birding was reality quiet with two Sand Martins, a Rook and a Bar-tailed Godwit being the highlights. The only other highlight was a Puffin sat on Carrag y Honwy; this is an unusual sighting for September and suggest that this bird was unfortunately ill. Non-avian highlights were three Harbour Porpoise and a Migrant Hawker.
