The wind calmed a bit this morning before a strong south westerly developed mid-afternoon. The seemed to be little new in however, an ICTERINE WARBLER was found in Ty Pellaf Withy mid-morning! The bird was elusive and silent only showing well a few times and worked its way into Cristin Withy where it was not seen again.

The afternoon was again spent round the East Side monitoring Choughs and seabirds. This included catching the first Kittiwakes of year with eight caught included a colour ringed bird from Puffin Island, Anglesey. Alongside the Kittiwakes, the first Razorbill chicks were big enough to ring with another brood of Shags and a adult Shag caught with the first Fulmar eggs.
