A strong south westerly wind isn't ideal at this time of year for migration. Waders are still trickling through with three Whimbrels, two Sanderlings, a Turnstone and three Dunlins. The Mistle Thrush was still around the Wetlands with a Grey Heron at Pen Cristin and three Collared Doves. Hirudines seemed to still be on the move with a late Sand Martin, two House Martins and seven Swallows through the Narrows despite many Swallows and House Martins now on eggs on the Island.
