Today was a very quiet day with not a lot seen on the bird front. Nine Chiffchaffs were recorded across the island with four at the Obs and five at Nant. Seven Willow Warblers (six of which were at the Obs) were also recorded along with eight Blackcaps. Four Wheatears were on the South End along with the juv Peregrine that has been hanging around the island and being rather showy. A small passage of finches was also observed with 29 Goldfinches, two Siskins and single Redpoll logged over the course of the day.
