A blustery day but very pleasant in the sunshine. Three Common Sandpipers, two Curlews and a Whimbrel were around the island, a Black-headed Gull was off the East Side and a Goldcrest was at Nant.

Insects were in good supply with our second Red-veined Darter of the season on the South End, a Hummingbird Hawk-moth and six Graylings on the Moutain and three Painted Ladies.
