A westerly wind at F2 held throughout the day, with a sea state of one and good visibility. No precipitation fell, and the temperature rose to a sweltering 28 °C.
A good arrival of migratory butterflies and moths today. A total of 17 Red Admirals and 30 Painted Ladies were seen. A Rush Veneer, eight Silver Ys and 16 Diamond‑back Moths. A total of 27 Green Tiger Beetles were also of note.

Two Grey Herons were seen squabbling at Solfach. A Buzzard was seen heading south over Nant, later being seen over Tŷ Pellaf. Three Peregrines were seen on the East Side, with the resident male chasing off another adult male which flew in from over the sound .
A Black‑tailed Godwit was seen in Henllwyn early morning. A Whimbel and a Curlew were along the West Coast.
Five Collared Doves were at Nant and a Racing Pigeon was at the Cristin.
A Red‑rumped Swallow was seen by Joel from the office window at Cristin. A Swift was also seen from Cristin. A total of 26 Swallows and 22 House Martins were recorded. A Tree Pipit was heard over the East Side.
Two Reed Warblers were trapped, one each at Nant and Cristin. Six Sedge Warblers, two Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, eight Chiffchaffs and a Willow Warbler were recorded. Two Spotted Flycatchers were recorded with one trapped at Cristin.

Two Siskins dropped into Nant and two Lesser Redpolls were recorded elsewhere. A Chaffinch was at Cristin. Elsewhere four Goldfinches and 13 Linnets were seen.
