An easterly wind at F2 held throughout the day, with a sea state of one and good visibility in the afternoon. Thick fog persisted through the morning before clearing by around 1400. Temperature rose to 22 °C, making for a very humid day.

An arrival of Painted Ladies with 47 seen, included 40 on the East Side along with a Humming‑bird Hawk‑moth. Eight Silver Ys were recorded across the island and a total of 34 Diamond‑back Moths were recorded.

A Little Egret flew south along the East Side and a Grey Heron was at Pwll Cain. Two Sparrowhawks and a Peregrine were present.

Two Purple Sandpipers were seen flying into Henllwyn and a Redshank was in Solfach. Two Whimbrel were at the Narrows. Four Curlews were recorded flying over with one at Nant and three at the Wetlands.

A Racing Pigeon was around the East Side and two Collared Doves were in the Withies.

One Sand Martin was seen leaving the island from the East Side. A total of 15 Swallows and 14 House Martins were recorded.

A Reed Warbler was singing in the Wetlands. Three Sedge Warblers, one Whitethroat, 13 Chiffchaffs and two Willow Warblers were present across the island. Three Spotted Flycatchers were recorded with two at Nant and one at Tŷ Nessaf.

Three Lesser Redpolls were recorded, along with five Goldfinches and 13 Linnets.
