An easterly wind at F2 held throughout the day, with a sea state of two and very good visibility. Thundery showers arrived in the late afternoon and evening, and temperatures reached 24 °C.
Large numbers of Painted Ladies were still present with 275 total, including 200 at the South End. Two Speckled Woods were seen at Nant. As with the Painted Ladies, large numbers of Silver Ys remained, totalling 104. Three Rush Veneers were also recorded.

The first Storm Petrel of the year was recorded, calling from a burrow in Seal Cove.
A Grey Heron was at Pwll Cain. Two Peregrines were recorded with a male over Cristin and a female on the East Side.
Two Dunlins were recorded along with a Whimbrel. Four Sandwich Terns were offshore.
Five Collared Doves were recorded with singles and pairs seen at several sites during the day and a total of four seen flying over the mountain in the afternoon. An Asio sp. was seen along the West Coast in the early hours.
Three Swifts flew over the Mountain. A total of 22 Swallows and 39 House Martins were recorded on the island. Whilst running nets at Nant, Joel had a male Grey Wagtail fly over heading South.
Six Sedge Warblers, a Whitethroat, nine Chiffchaffs and a Willow Warbler were recorded across the island. Three Spotted Flycatchers were present, all at Nant.
