A scattering of common migrants on the island included a 34 Whimbrels, a Redstart, 82 Wheatears, six Sedge Warblers, eight Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, 20 Blackcaps, eight Chiffchaffs, eight Willow Warblers and two Spotted Flycatchers, whilst two Sand Martins, 231 Swallows and seven House Martins passed overhead. A Sparrowhawk was the only other notable sighting of the day.
