A windy day with clear skies was once again very quiet for early October. A Hobby seen over Ty Pellaf in the afternoon was perhaps the highlight of the day, whilst a Lapland Bunting and a Grey Wagtail were also seen inland. A Sooty Shearwater, a Balearic Shearwater, two Leach's Petrels, two Great Skuas and two Mediterranean Gulls passed by at sea, and 19 Golden Plovers flew overhead.

The Hobby spent a few minutes harassing the local Linnets around Ty Pellaf before flying off north over the mountain ridge
Two Kestrels (above) and a Merlin were also seen over the mountain
