Literally the only notable sightings of a very miserable day on the 19th were a flock of 12
Dunlins around the Narrows and a
Water Rail in the wetlands. A
Common Tern in Solfach midday was perhaps the most unusual sightings of the 20th, being 20 days later than the latest ever record on the island. A
Whimbrel and four
Snipe were also seen around the Narrows, although there was nothing seen inland.
Purple Sandpiper
Common Tern
Herring Gulls (top) and Turnstones (lower) in stormy seas
