It has been a quiet couple of days on the island, with very few noteworthy sightings. The 16th saw the arrival of the first
Ringed Plover of the year, which was an individual bearing a ring in Henllwyn. A
Woodcock was flushed from the New Plantation. The 17th was an extremely miserable day, the only notable birds being two
Ringed Plovers, a
Dunlin and five
Shelducks around the Narrows.
