A cold, horrendously windy day saw a few new birds for the year sheltering on the Narrows. The highlights included a
Grey Plover, a
Bar-tailed Godwit, 32
Lapwings and a
Teal. Inland, eight
Redwings were scattered around with two
Song Thrushes, and three
Snipe were flushed in the wetlands.
