8th to 9th February
Once again, it was another quiet two days, although calmer weather presided for the most part. A Ringed Plover and a single Snipe were seen on the 8th, whilst three Common Scoters flew past at sea with a handful of Fulmars. The Firecrest joined in the chorus of bird song at Nant on the 9th, along with some of the eight Goldcrests present. 112 Oystercatchers was a good count in Henllwyn, and two Whimbrels were also amongst them.
