The 10th was an utterly miserable day, with hardly anything to report. A
Ringed Plover and two
Whimbrels were seen around the Narrows at high tide, and a
Snipe was in the wetlands. A much brighter day on the 11th saw a
Red-throated Diver, four
Common Scoters and a
Common Gull flying past at sea in the morning, whilst the
Firecrest was present amongst eight
Goldcrests in the plantation. 21
Meadow Pipits were seen on the mountain at dusk.
