Unfortunately it looks like we've seen the last of the warm weather for a while, with chilly winds picking up today and sapping away any heat from the sun. The boat was cancelled and unsurprisingly land birds were keeping a low profile. Goldfinches were the order of the day with at least 125 logged, mostly fly over birds.

Other sightings today included two Fulmars, five Manx Shearwaters, two Sparrowhawks, two Peregrines, nine Whimbrel, a Curlew, a Common Sandpiper, a Sandwich Tern, a Sand Martin, five Swallows, two White Wagtails, six Wheatears, a Blackcap, nine Chiffchaffs, seven Willow Warblers, a Goldcrest, two Chaffinches, four Siskins and 37 Linnets.

We've been treated to some sublime sunsets recently.
