One Black Redstart, one Bar-tailed Godwit and one Whimbrel were the day's highlights. Today was also the first main arrival of Willow Warblers, the trees around the Observatory building held as many Chiffchaffs as Willow Warblers, with around 15-20 of each. Meadow Pipit numbers were down today, with no large flocks seen on the island and only 18 recorded over the course of the day. Wheatear numbers remained steady with nine individuals.
