Today was the day of the first Swallow which was seen flying over West Coast. However, the most unusual bird of the day was a Kingfisher flying north past Solfach, about 50m out to sea, the island's 22nd record. 

A walk round to the East Side to look for Chough nests gave a view of the hundreds of Razorbills that have arrived to breed on the island, amongst them were 24 Puffins sitting on the sea. This walk also produced a Siskin, eight Shags, 13 Choughs, one Peregrine, three Ravens and large numbers of Herring Gulls, Lesser Black-backed Gulls and Kittiwakes
