Forecast for today was rain, but it turned out to be mainly dry and overcast. Off the bat was the first Garden Warbler of the year, singing in the Observatory garden, which is quite fitting...

Two Bar-tailed Godwits on South End, one was colour ringed from a Norwegian scheme, so hopefully some updates will come shortly!

Two Bar-tailed Godwits on the right and a Curlew on the left, the yellow flag can be seen on the right hand bird
Bird around include: one Whitethroats, five Sedge Warblers, seven Blackbirds, ten Wheatears, four Stonechats, eight Turnstones, two Common Sandpipers, 31 Whimbrels, 20 Purple Sandpipers, one Sanderling, one Kestrel, ten Shelduck, 23 Willow Warblers and 11 Chiffchaffs.
