Today started off drizzly and overcast, however, going into the afternoon the sun came out and the weather totally cleared up besides a gentle westerly breeze.

Birds of the day were easily three fly-over Red Kites that were seen flying over Cristin mid-afternoon and drifted north out of sight! For the first time in over a week conditions were calm enough to take a walk to the steep east side of Bardsey, around were over 1000 Razorbills and 380 Herring Gulls, 180 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, nine Fulmars, 100 Guillemots, 25 Puffins and eight Shags.

Migrant Passerines were not around in as large numbers as yesterday with 23 Willow Warblers and nine Chiffchaffs, although 13 Common Whitethroats were seen throughout the day.

Other birds around include: 62 Linnets, three Goldfinches, one Siskins, three Chaffinches, two Goldcrests, 16 Blackcaps, ten Sedge Warblers, 14 Wheatears, 18 Swallows, 18 House Martins, 11 Whimbrels and a Bar-tailed Godwit.
