Another productive day for migrants. The north-easterlies continued which brought more finches and thrushes to the island.
So far, four Greenfinches have been caught at Cristin which is reasonably high considering that only one was caught last year.

Totals for the day include: 236 Starlings, 215 Chaffinches, 28 Brambling, nine Greenfinches, 42 Siskins, 31 Goldfinches, nine Lesser Redpolls, 603 Jackdaws, 45 Rooks, 49 Carrion Crows, 244 Redwings, 23 Song Thrushes and a whopping 319 Fieldfares.
