A bit quieter today, the winds turned south-westerly which put something of a halt to the migration witnessed over the last couple of days.
The highlight of the day came quite late when three
Yellow-browed Warblers were heard singing in the garden at Cristin, two of which were caught duly after!

The contrast compared to yesterday is dramatic, throughout the day only six
Chaffinches and three
Siskins were recorded.
Redwings dropped off too, after 244 yesterday, the change in winds brought the total down to a measly eight birds!
Passerine totals today include: 14 Meadow Pipits, 15 Rock Pipits, one Pied Wagtail, two White Wagtails, one Ring Ouzel, eight Fieldfares, eight Redwings, three Song Thrushes and 17 Goldcrests.
