After a windy night it was nice to have cooler temperatures and a bit of cloud to start today. With high tide covering the majority of Carreg yr Honwy this morning, 107
Herring Gulls were on Solfach instead along with three
Turnstones, two
Common Sandpipers, four
Redshanks and a
Dunlin.

The moth trap was put out at Carreg Withy last night and due to the high winds and new location there was smaller catch than usual. There were still some new moths for the year including a lovely Buff-tip and a female Northern Eggar.
