An overcast day on the Island, saw a small arrival of birds including 15 Chiffchaffs and four Blackcaps. This resulted in the first bird of the session being ringed with 2 Chiffchaffs being caught in the Heligoland trap. 

Highlights of the day included a fine male Black Redstart at the Cristin, five Crossbills at Nant, a Sand Martin over, nine Common Scoters along the West Coast and a Collared Dove at Ty Pellaf.

Other commoner migrants totals included six Snipes, a Sparrowhawk, four Wheatears, six Robins, two Skylarks, 20 Siskins, a Chaffinch and seven Goldcrests. Also of note was a good count of 38 Magpies and 132 Oystercatchers
