More Manx Shearwater ringing was done last night, with a good milestone of 100 ringed within the session!

The quiet trickle of passage migrants continued today with two Curlews, a Redshank, a Common Sandpiper, four Black-headed Gulls, and a Collared Dove being logged. A brief seawatch in the evening resulted in few birds of note, however a pod of 35 Common Dolphins were sighted moving along the West Coast.

The moth traps continued to do well today, with Rob's heath trap placed in Green Lane and the Obs garden trap running as usual. Highlights from both were some smart Garden Tigers and a Pinion-streaked Snout
