Without sounding repetitive; last night was again spent Manx Shearwater ringing this time in the North West Fields where 88 new birds were ringed alongside 65 retraps.

Birds today included 11 Curlew, four Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper and two Starlings. Also of note today was the first singing Whitethroats in a while; presumably now starting second broods.

A portable moth trap was placed at Nant and produced 13 Brussels Laces, two Drinkers, a True Lover's Knot, a Barred Red and five Flames.
