Last night was again spent ringing Manx Shearwater; this time along the West Coast with 54 new birds being ringed. A walk around the Wetlands beforehand resulted in the first Swallowtail and Small Wainscot moth of the year.

A small arrival of birds resulted in a Collared Dove, two Siskins and 22 Starlings being logged. The afternoon was spent finishing off the Gull colour rings before the rain early evening. A further 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were colour ringed around the North End, making it 133 Gulls to be ringed this year! Also of note was a count of 173 Puffins around the North end of the Island!
