A strong south-westerly wind and some rain heavy rain showers during the morning halted census. Despite the wind some birds were coming in off at the North End with 54 Skylarks, 304 Starlings, 46 Goldfinches and 10 Linnets moving south. A Black Redstart was around Ty Bach and a Kestrel hunted the Mountain.

The highlight of the day, however, came midday when a Pallas's Warbler as caught in the Heligoland Trap! This became 23rd record for the Island and the 18th to be ringed!

Other birds recorded today included two Grey Herons, a Merlin, a Snipe. a Whimbrel, 48 Curlews, 11 Redshanks, 36 Turnstones, two Mediterranean Gulls, two Common Gulls, five Black-headed Gulls, a Redwing, a Blackcap, two Chiffchaffs, 11 Goldcrests, a Rook and two Siskins.
