Sunny skies were accompanied by gentle south-easterlies today, but it was relatively quiet on the birding front. The highlight of the day was a Grey Plover seen on the Narrows, whilst other migrants of interest included a Collared Dove, four Sand Martins, a Skylark, two Blackcaps, 10 Willow Warblers, 11 Chiffchaffs, 16 Goldcrests, two Rooks at Nant, six Starlings, five Chaffinches and a Siskin.

Ringing totals of the day were: a Chaffinch, seven Goldcrests, three Willow Warblers, three Chiffchaffs, and a Blackcap.
