The winds started off strongly today but eased off in the afternoon. The highlight of the day was a Buzzard was also seen thermalling above Nant. Other excitement included four Whimbrels on the West Coast.

Aside from a couple of raptors it was fairly quiet for migrants, the other species of note included a Grasshopper Warbler that was reeling away from Ty Pellaf reedbed again in the evening, alongside a Grey Heron, 39 Swallows, 18 House Martins, two Sedge Warblers, four Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, a Willow Warbler, and two Lesser Redpolls.
