The weather continued in its glorious fashion with yet more bright sunny skies. Two Whinchats were below Ty Pellaf, a Cuckoo was at Nant and 13 Sanderling were feeding on Solfach alongside two Dunlins and a Turnstone.

Elsewhere, there were two Curlews, two Whimbrels, three Collared Doves, three Willow Warblers, five Blackcaps, four Chiffchaffs, 17 Spotted Flycatchers, two Siskins and two Lesser Redpolls.

Looking back at photos from the Gwylans yesterday produced a colour ringed Great Black-backed Gull ringed as a chick on the Calf of Man in 2017. This bird however, is no stranger to Bardsey as has been seen in the autumn of 2018, 2019 and 2022 and is good to know where it is breeding.
