The weather finally calmed and even though the wind was still coming from the south-west, lots of birds took advantage to move. This included 2828 Swallows, 55 House Martins, 153 Linnets, eight Goldfinches, 21 Siskins, 278 Chaffinches, 19 Starlings, six Rooks, four Reed Buntings, eight Grey Wagtails, 24 'Alba' Wagtails. 479 Meadow Pipits, 28 Skylarks and a 'Flava' Wagtail. Unfortunately however, the Black-and-white Warbler did not stay overnight as was not seen today, much to the disappointment of the visiting birders!

Ringing produced a Lesser Redpoll, a Goldfinch, 23 Goldcrests, two Chiffchaffs and 19 Chaffinches. A Yellow Wagtail was in the Lowlands with the first two Greenfinches of the year at Ty Pellaf. A Firecrest was at Cristin with a Merlin on the South End. The sea was calm but still produced an adult Pomarine Skua, seven Arctic Skuas, four Common Terns and 27 Common Scoters.
