Strong north-westerlies limited passage with the highlight being the first Great Northern Diver of the year flying north up the West Coast. A new juvenile Peregrine was quickly seen off by the breeding male with a Rook over Nant and a Spotted Flycatcher there and at Cristin.
Due to the unfavourable forecast last night a nocturnal survey took place which saw a female Shelduck, five Dunlins, an Oystercatcher, a Rock Pipit, three Wheatears (including a bird from last summer) and a Purple Sandpiper ringed on 6th April despite few sightings recently.
