Strong north-westerly saw most of the migration occurring out to sea, during the day two Cory's Shearwaters, a Sooty Shearwater, three Sabine's Gulls, two Pomarine Skuas, two Brent Geese, 35 Common Scoters, eight Arctic Skuas, two Great Skuas, 683 Kittiwakes, 21 Manx Shearwaters, 13 Fulmars, 43 Gannets, 15 Arctic Terns, 42 Sandwich Terns, a 'Commic' Tern, 20 Razorbills and a Guillemot passed. Around the Narrows there were two Little Egrets, five Ringed Plovers, a Purple Sandpiper, three Whimbrels and two Common Sandpipers.

Passerines included two Tree Pipits, 42 White Wagtails, 13 Wheatears, two Whinchats, five Whitethroats, two Blackcaps, nine Chiffchaffs, 17 Willow Warblers, six Goldcrests, six Spotted Flycatchers, three Pied Flycatchers and a Jackdaw.
