Despite a slight movement of finches and seabirds during the morning, there was very little to report today. Two Greylag Geese flew over the Narrows in the morning, which is surprisingly the first autumn record; the two Brent Geese and a Lapwing remained on the narrows and a Mediterranean Gull flew past at sea with two Manx Shearwaters. 4300 Starlings, 67 Chaffinhces, three Greenfinches, two Siskins, two Goldfinches, 10 Linnets and two Lesser Redpolls flew overhead during the course of the day, whilst three Sparrowhawks circled above Nant in the morning.
