On the last forecast day of calm and clear weather, there was not a great deal to report on the 25th. Thrushes were represented by a single
Fieldfare, 29
Song Thrushes and 45
Redwings, whilst eight
Snipe, a
Red-throated Diver and a
Buzzard were seen around the Narrows. There was literally nothing of note seen on the 26th, in howling Southerly gales and pouring rain.
