Sunday 21 July 2013
It was a slightly cooler day, with a brisk Easterly wind, although there were a few notable species around. A single Crossbill in the Plantation in the early hours was joined by a flock of six later on. The Greater Spotted Woodpecker was seen briefly at Ty Pellaf, whilst five young Willow Warblers included an obvious new arrival at the Boathouse. A flock of 30 Common Swifts hawked for insects above Pen Cristin, along with four Sand Martins.
