Solfach held onto its smart Ringed Plover with two Sanderlings, two Whimbrels, and two Turnstones joining it today. A flock of eight Curlews was new in around Pen Cristin, the first birds of the autumn no doubt. At sea a Sandwich Tern was off the North End again whilst inland the highlight was a new Sedge Warbler singing at Cristin. Overnight a decent tally of 15 Storm Petrels were caught, processed, and ringed in Bae Nant in front of a group of very happy island visitors.
