Winds continued to materialize from the West, but picked up in speed which resulted in some impressive seabird totals today. Those that kept an eye on the sea were rewarded with 32 Fulmars, 342 Manx Shearwaters, 358 Gannets, nine Common Scoters, one Bar-tailed Godwit, four Arctic Skua, one Great Skua, 249 Kittiwakes, 27 Sandwich Terns and two Black Terns. On land the westerly winds also fared well producing a flurry of waders including two Ringed Plovers, three Purple Sandpipers, 61 Curlews, 15 Redshanks, one Green Sandpiper and 29 Turnstones.

Inland, a few migrants passed through evidently unsettled by the stronger winds today, the Great Spotted Woodpecker was once again present. Overhead passage saw 58 Swallows, three ‘Flava’ Wagtails and six Grey Wagtails pass through, whilst on the land one Whinchat, three Chiffchaffs, three Willow Warblers, two Goldcrests, 37 Linnets and two Lesser Redpolls were the highlights.
