Once again, 15-20mph westerlies swept over Bardsey. This held the potential for good seawatching, but unfortunately, it was very much on the quiet side. Ben did observe some interesting action off the south end when an Arctic Skua stole prey off a Kittiwake, only to have the spoils then stolen by a Great Skua.

The morning census didn't yield much new, but there were good numbers of Siskins and Grey Wagtails flying over, in total 13 and 23 were counted, respectively! Other than that, it seemed to be a quiet day with not much in the way of Wheatears or Meadow Pipits, with nine and 69, respectively.

Waders were thin in the ground today, between the usual haunts of Solfach and Henllwyn just one Curlew, four Redshanks and 19 Oystercatchers were recorded!

Sightings today include: 13 Siskins, 17 Choughs, one Goldcrest, 16 Stonechats, 32 White Wagtails, 47 Rock Pipits, two Arctic Skuas, one Great Skua, one Kestrel and one Common Scoter.
