Another grey drizzly day and there was a lot of obvious migration today. In a brief ringing session at the Obs Loius ringed a Garden Warbler, Spotted Flycatcher, two Whitethroats and 15 Willow Warblers

The nights moth trap was also productive with a few Autumn moths including Rosy Rustic and Square-spot Rustic. There was also the ninth Bardsey record of the micro moth Agonopterix alstromeriana

In other bird news, two more Spotted Flycatchers were at Nant and a Redstart was behind Carreg Bach. A few waders also dropped in with the low cloud including 25 Turnstones, 51 Curlews, six Redshanks, one Common Sandpiper, one Ringed Plover and two Whimbrels

Birds today: two Fulmars, 11 Gannets, one Grey Heron, one Buzzard, two Whimbrels, 51 Curlews, six Redshanks, one Common Sandpiper, 25 Turnstones, two Black-headed Gulls, one Common Gull, two Collared Doves, one Redstart, two Whitethroats, one Garden Warbler, 29 Willow Warblers, three Spotted Flycatchers
