It was another quiet moth morning including a Brimstone moth, Square Spot Rustic and two Antler moths. Stuart then led the weekly fauna and flora walk and was fortunate to be able to show guests three Choughs on Pen Cristin and Gannets close in off Solfach.

It was a windy start with 30mph winds from the Northwest. Steve was seawatching from the Obs whilst Stuart was down at the South End. The highlights were nine Arctic Skuas, three Great Skuas, 16 Sandwich Terns and two Common Scoters. Whilst walking up through the Withies Stuart found the first Spotted Flycatcher of the Autumn taunting him from the furled mist net. This was followed by Louis finding another at Nant as well as a Tree Pipit.
