Strong north-westerly winds certainly caused a noticeable drop in temperatures. The wind did its best to keep birds low with very little around. The highlight was a almost all white leucistic Spotted Flycatcher in the Withies alongside two 'normal' ones. Another seven Spotted Flycatchers were at Nant with another between Nant and Cristin. Four Swifts went over, a Hooded Crow flew north along the West Coast before getting mobbed and going back south with four Purple Sandpipers on the rocks on the South End.

Other birds seen included a Grey Heron, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, four Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, a Whimbrel, three Whitethroats, a Blackcap, seven Chiffchaffs, three Willow Warblers, three Goldfinches and a Siskin.
